Case Study: From Undervalued to Multimillion

I once advised a deal where the seller was asking $2 million. But something didn’t add up. I dug into the financials and uncovered the business was worth closer to $500K. We negotiated and closed at $600K.

Five years later, that same company grew from $1.5M in annual sales to $10.5M. Margins climbed from 4% to 22%. We sold the business for 8× its net operating profit.

The buyer, a $300M firm, brought me back 17 months later to help scale it further. Two years later, sales hit $24M with a 27% EBITDA. The following year? $30M projected.
